Hi there, internet! I’m Katie O’Nell, a 5th year PhD candidate in the FINN Lab at Dartmouth College studying collaborative meaning-making through conversation. Check out some of my ongoing projects!
Previously, I was a master’s student at Oxford building animal foraging models of human social partner choice. Before that, I earned my undergrad degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT. I’ve done some other fun things along the way, which you can read about in my bio.
In addition to my research, I care deeply about pedagogy and have taught extensively from the middle school to college levels. Come take a look at my teaching philosophy and experience!
